The Marketing Intelligence Lab: AI-Driven Marketing, Taught in Public

Most marketing content teaches you what to do. This Lab teaches you why it works.

The Lab is the content arm of this practice — a full ecosystem of YouTube series, long-form articles and frameworks built around one mission: making intelligence-led marketing accessible to every practitioner willing to evolve beyond execution-only thinking.

It is not a personal brand content machine, not a course funnel, and not recycled advice in new graphics. It is the documented evolution of a practice — 12+ years of real client experience meeting active academic research, published so anyone on the same journey can learn from it.

Foundations

What the Lab is built on

The same three foundations that drive the entire practice.

Real experience

12+ years, 100+ clients, 12+ industries across Pakistan, the UK, USA and UAE. Every framework taught here has been tested on real client data with real budgets and real consequences. No theoretical advice, no borrowed case studies.

Active research

Three international papers under peer review and MS Data Science (AI focus) in progress. Every concept introduced is connected to the same academic rigour that goes into peer review — simplified for practitioners, never dumbed down to inaccuracy.

Honest teaching

The Lab does not exist to sell a course or build a following. Marketing intelligence should be accessible, not locked behind enterprise fees or five-figure programmes. If the industry believes something wrong, it gets challenged — with evidence.

Who the Lab is for

Five groups, each with a different reason to be here.

01 — Video

YouTube series

Five active playlists. More in development.

The Marketing Intelligence Lab

The flagship series — computational marketing, the Cognitive Marketing Engine, and AI-driven strategy frameworks for a general audience.

Modern SEO with data science & ML

SEO taught at a computational level: semantic vectors, intent drift, ML applications and raw data extraction, beyond keyword and backlink advice.

SEO with AI automation

Practical implementation of AI tools in real SEO workflows — automated pipelines, intelligent content systems, programmatic technical SEO.

Meta Ads with AI & machine learning

Underneath the Ads Manager dashboard to the algorithmic reality: creative fatigue prediction, audience modelling, incrementality testing.

Content marketing with AI

Using AI for content strategy intelligently — AEO and GEO optimisation, semantic content planning, quality-first production.

Coming soon: Computational Marketing Series, MS Data Science × Marketing Applications, AI/DS Solutions Per Marketing Branch, Digital Marketing Reality Check, and an AEO/GEO/LLMO series.

02 — Written

Articles

Long-form strategic content, 1,500 to 4,000 words. Built for depth, not clicks.

AI agents

AI agents in the Lab: taught, and used

Marketing AI agents come in two architectures. Workflow agents — built on n8n, Make.com or Zapier — run a sequence defined in advance when a trigger fires. Autonomous agents decide their own next step from live data. Two capability layers serve both: MCP for governed access to real tools and data, and skills for packaged, repeatable expertise.

They appear in the Lab twice over — as subject matter, and as infrastructure.

Taught as subject matter

Across the SEO automation, Meta Ads and content marketing playlists, plus articles covering what agents genuinely do versus what their marketing claims. Including the part most content skips: where automation should stop.

Used as infrastructure

Workflow agents handle publishing schedules, cross-platform distribution and performance monitoring; MCP connects them to analytics and Search Console. This is how one person sustains eight platforms without a production team.

What is never automated in the Lab

The full breakdown of both architectures, channel by channel, sits in the AI agents section.

03 — Coming soon

Resources

Free templates, frameworks, checklists and tools, built from the same research and practice foundations. None of these are live yet — this is what is planned.

Newsletter subscribers will be first to access each resource when it launches.

Distribution

The Lab across platforms

The Lab is not just a website section. It is a full content ecosystem, meeting practitioners wherever they already are.

Honest note

The solo creator reality

Every piece of content across every platform is produced by one person. Research, scripting, recording, editing, publishing, distribution — all of it independently.

This is not a complaint. It is a deliberate choice, because the content that comes from this Lab is only as credible as the person producing it. Outsourcing the thinking, the writing or the strategic direction would make it something different. More polished, perhaps. Less honest, certainly.

The Lab grows at the pace that maintains quality, not the pace that maximises output.

“Necessary suffering with purpose.”

The reason

Why this Lab exists

The honest answer: when this practice was being built — learning SEO in 2014 with almost no guidance, figuring out Google Ads through trial and error, trying to understand how data science connects to marketing decisions — the content that would have genuinely helped did not exist.

What existed was either too basic (tactics without strategy), too theoretical (academic papers with no practical application), or too expensive (enterprise knowledge behind five-figure fees).

This Lab is the resource I wish had existed. Built for the practitioner in Pakistan, or anywhere, who is serious, curious and willing to do the necessary work — who does not want shortcuts, and who wants to understand the intelligence layer underneath the execution.

FAQ

Questions about the Lab

The content arm of this practice — YouTube series, long-form articles and planned free resources teaching intelligence-led marketing. Everything published is original, produced by one person, and connected to either a real client pattern or an active research question. It is not a course funnel and there is nothing to buy.

Yes, all of it. The mission behind the practice is making advanced marketing intelligence accessible rather than locked behind enterprise consulting fees or expensive programmes. The Lab is how that applies to knowledge; the SaaS products in development are how it will apply to tooling.

English for long-form written content, and Urdu, English or mixed for video depending on the topic and audience. Selected written content is produced in Roman Urdu for Pakistani practitioners more comfortable in that format.

No. Workflow agents handle scheduling, distribution and performance monitoring, which is how one person sustains eight platforms. The thinking, scripting, narration and every claim about the industry are done by hand, because content whose credibility rests on the person producing it cannot be generated.

Most content in this space teaches tactics that are already well understood, sourced from other content that did the same. The Lab starts from a client pattern or a research question and works through the evidence, including when the honest answer is that nobody knows for certain. That makes it slower to produce and less optimised for engagement.
